Hi, readers. How are you? I bet you can't wait for this post already since I posted the photos in my instagram. (Actually Dern and Lara pushed me to update my blog few times already, that's why this post will be post on today. --Lazy girl *sigh)
See from this title, I think you will know that I am going to separate this post into 2 parts. The first part I will share about the French-themed village while the second part I will talk about Japanese village. Actually, the Japanese village do not have much things to talk about, but I have too many photos to arrange and I think I will vomit if I done it at once. (Watermarking the photos is really tiring! Spent few hours to watermark my photos before I start to write this post just because I don't have mouse with me while using touchpad to edit photo is really tortured.) And, this post gonna be a long long long post. So, if you are lazy to read all of my "long-gas" story, you can choose to read those I highlighted which are very important things that you have to know if you plan to go there.
This time, I went back to KL two weeks before my Sem 3 starts with my parents because I have some personal things to do so my parents decided to spend more time in KL and go somewhere else to play. Then, I decided to have a day trip to Berjaya Hills since I realised Malaysia still have such a beautiful place after I read Benshee's blog post. So, my parents was "cheated" by me to accompany me to go there. (Why say "cheat"? It just because beside beautiful scenery, there didn't have any entertainment like Genting Highland have.)
Therefore, before you decided to go to Berjaya Hills, you have to know your PURPOSE to go there.
If you
• want to shop and buy some clothes or accessories;
• want to eat special food;
• expect to have games entertainment at here,
• ever go to French before,
then I don't think you will like to go there. (But, they do have some adventurous game.)
You have to know, this is a place for RELAXING & PHOTOSHOOTING only.
Now, are you still decide to go there? Then, the first question you will ask must be "How to go there?"
This question do make me confusing for quite a long time even though I've read few blog posts which introduce this place.
So, now it's my turn to share about the transportation to reach this beautiful place.
There are 2 ways you can go there:
(1) By car.
- If you own a car, you can drive there. It just around 45mins from KL.
- If you are from out station, you can book a taxi to go there.
(2) By shuttle bus.
- If you wish to save money, there is shuttle bus provided which depart on Berjaya Times Square.
- Fees (per person):
• Adult: RM55(two ways)/ RM35(from Berjaya Times Square to Colmar Tropicale) and RM25(from Colmar Tropicale to Berjaya Times Square)
• Children: RM50(two ways)/ RM30(from Berjaya Times Square to Colmar Tropicale) and RM25(from Colmar Tropicale to Berjaya Times Square)
• Time are provided below:

If you have 4 people in the trip, I think you can rent a car go there is better. Anyway, the choice of transportation depends on the amount of people to go there.
* Important: When you want to book the shuttle bus and if you only plan to go for a day trip, you can write an EMAIL to them because the quick reservation for the shuttle bus in the main website is for those who stay there for at least 1 night. Don't panic if you can't book the shuttle bus in their website. When you drop a mail to them and enquiries for the reservation of shuttle bus, they will send you a form for the reservation and the method of payment.
Then, I think the next question should be is "How long will I spend at there if I just only plan to go for a day trip?"

Well, it depends on you. My family and I spent 3 hours only for this day trip (we just went to French-themed Village and Japanese Village). It's because we didn't have our lunch at there, and just go for photography. If you have kids with you and they wish to play the "kids" games at there, you will need to spend more time at there or you wish to enjoy the spa at there, you will need a longer time. However, if you just want to visit all the places and take photography, I think half day is more than enough. Actually we missed out the Animal park because the weather is too hot.
Some other thing that you will need to know is DON'T EXPECT THERE IS AS COLD AS YOU ARE IN GENTING HIGHLAND OR CAMERON HIGHLAND. Gosh~ I feel that I'm being cheated by those reviews and wore a thick sweater to there(*slightly stupid >.<). Well, the cold wind does blew, but if you are under a big sun, I bet you will not think that it is cold at all. I just keep sweating and sweating. It is HOT! If you are go for overnight, I think you can bring a jacket with you because it might be cold at night, but for those who just go for day trip, jacket or sweater is not necessary. (I think the other visitors might think I'm crazy when seeing my thick sweater.)
Last but not least, the entrance fees are NOT FREE! You have to pay RM12 for ADULT and RM8 for Age 4-12 CHILD.
You just have to pay this entrance fees(per person basis) and can visit all the places.
Finally, we are there after an hour's journey. The road to the hills is really "zig-zag", so if you have carsick, I think you should not choose the shuttle bus.

This is a spa and organic wellness resort so if you stay there, you can go for their spa treatment. The information of the hotel will listed at the end of this post.

There are two colourful "horses" on the both side of the door and the right side of the door has a clock at there. I ever saw this clock appears in the photo of one of the intagramer who I followed. It is exactly the same so I just act like I really went to the real French. However, this clock is not the real one, it doesn't work!
Do you see there is a guy snapping photo at there? Except the two horses "standing" at the entrance, there are another two inside the Colmar.
The only thing that I couldn't understand is why the horses are painted in the Malaysia's style pattern. I saw "1 Malaysia" signature "1" on the face of the horse! OMG~
There still have a toy shop and you can play the sand coloring too.
Bicycle renting is available. But I have to admit that I don't know how to ride(*shame). I think it's okay that I don't know how to ride, I can ask for my future boyfriend fetches me along. Hehe :p
You can see a tower from this photo. I ran up and down the tower just because my mum don't know how to use my camera to help me take photo. Just feel that I'm so crazy as I have to be the model and the photo director at the same time but at the end still fail to take a nice photo. Feel so sad for my mum's skill. Awww~~
There is a massage shop at there. If you feel tired to walk, perhaps you can go for massage.
Kids can come to play this kiddies rides. There is also a game room which you can play the car games or other games. (Gaming isn't my cup of tea so I just walked pass there.)
Didn't order for any food but still sit there for photoshooting. Luckily didn't scolded by the owner. Well, I think after I had my photo shooting on the day before this trip, my face become thicker. (Never think that I can ignore the others' attention. Self-confidence is getting higher....Muahahaa *evil laugh)
The wishing well. I do not have a chance to take the photo with it as the sun is really big! Feel so crazy with the big sun but at least there is no raining on that day. Still feel lucky.
L' orient restaurant. You can find quite a lot of restaurants at there but the price will be slightly pricy. As we didn't plan to spend so much time at here, so we didn't manage to try on the taste. So I cannot guarantee the taste.
Since I didn't manage to take a good photo with the whole tower, I asked my cousin to help me take a closer photo with the tower. This tower has 3 floors and there is a elevator provided if you don't want to walk up by using staircase. But there is nothing at there, just walk up there for snaping photos(I guess?).

Behind the tower, there are two stalls which have a lot of cute doll. Well, I didn't walk closer to see so I don't know whether they are for selling purpose or for gaming.
Weather is too hot until we bought an ice-cream at the shop.
Just play for fun. The finger is not closer enough to my leg.
I've forgot where is this but I guess this is the backyard of the hotel.
Then, we walked out of the village and getting down off the bridge.
(Just ignore my slippers. If you know how the Japanese Village looks like, then you will know that why I'm not continuing wearing my heels.)
Look from the bridge (before you went into the village), there is a pond with 2 white swans and 2 black swan. It's my first time see a swan. They are really fat and big!
OMG~ Ignore my messy hair. Actually some of the photos were taken after we back from Japanese Village, so my hair might be too messy. (Sitting on the shuttle bus and the wind blew strongly make my hair to be messy.)
It's my first time learn that how a swan drinking water. I just took lots of photos so that I'm able to use it as my drawing reference. :P

I feel so lucky that the weather is really nice, even though it is really hot. Big sun. So, remember to apply sunblock before you go. I'm so regret that I didn't apply the body sun cream. Never stand under the sun for so long after my secondary school ended. (Hate the sun "kiss" my skin, but I do love sunlight. What a contradiction, am I? Perhaps I just hate the UV light which will make me be darker.)

This time we came to Basaga. My mum went there years ago with her friends but it is a new place for me. The environment is really nice and I just can't stop to take photo. Actually, it is a holiday residence with a courtyard restaurant. If you travel to Kuching, perhaps you may stay here because they have a nice environment with tropical garden and the location is good. It is not far from our Kuching International Airport(KIA) and one of our shopping mall. Since today we are going to talk about the restaurant and I have lack information about the stay in informations, I will share their official website at the end of this post.
It's a raining night so I didn't take the photo of the outdoor. So, let us look at their indoor decorations.
When we stepped in it, we can see a living room on the right. If you don't know about this residence, you will never know that there is a restaurant inside it.

There is a table with some booklets. Those are some information about the tour to some Sarawak's famous place.
Say for real, even though I was born in this place, however, most of the place I still never go before except the crocodile farm and the Sarawak Culture Village. If you come to Kuching, don't forget to go to these place, or else, you shouldn't say you have come here before.
After that, you can see a bookshelf. I'm not sure that whether you can buy these shirts or not.
This is another door that you can directly heading to the restaurant. (If I'm not mistaken, there is a wine room at there too.)
Before passed through this "house" and headed to the restaurant, there is a mini living room again and a laptop is provided.
This wall is really beautiful, isn't it? Believe or not, this is the wall outside the toilet.
There have a lot of plants at there. I have to admit that this place is really look like a small rainforest. No wonder that so many tourist who came from western country loves to stay at here.
Finally, we are at the restaurant. Sitting at there, you will feel like you are staying in the forest and the background music is the sound of the stream. Actually, under the wooden floor is a pond which is full of fishes. That's why you can hear the sound of water.
Look. The fishes are really beautiful and big.
You can go to the other house to have your meals too.
There are some tables between the two "houses" too. If there is no raining, sitting outside is really good too.
Then, you can go to the other side of the "house". You may have your meals there too but due to raining, we didn't go to there. I'm so satisfied with the effect of the photo and this should thanks to my ZR. Photo was taken without open flashlight in the dark. Therefore, the photos looks dark, especially my dad's face. But I'm still so satisfy with this photo because if using my iphone to take this photo, you can never see anyone's face.
This is my aunt and my cousin. They look young right? A pair of young daughter and mum. (The light is so romantic ^^)

Hi, readers.
First of all, I may wish everybody Happy National Day. I think most of you know that 31st of August is our Malaysia's National Day. However, 31st of August doesn't only mean Malaysia's birthday for me, but also is my mum's birthday. We will celebrate together by going out to eat something good every year, so as usual, we found a place to have our dinner.
This time we came to Basaga. My mum went there years ago with her friends but it is a new place for me. The environment is really nice and I just can't stop to take photo. Actually, it is a holiday residence with a courtyard restaurant. If you travel to Kuching, perhaps you may stay here because they have a nice environment with tropical garden and the location is good. It is not far from our Kuching International Airport(KIA) and one of our shopping mall. Since today we are going to talk about the restaurant and I have lack information about the stay in informations, I will share their official website at the end of this post.

When I walked in, I still thought that I am not come for dinner, but just like visit to someone's house.
I think this is the counter for the stay-in informations.
There is a table with some booklets. Those are some information about the tour to some Sarawak's famous place.
Say for real, even though I was born in this place, however, most of the place I still never go before except the crocodile farm and the Sarawak Culture Village. If you come to Kuching, don't forget to go to these place, or else, you shouldn't say you have come here before.
After that, you can see a bookshelf. I'm not sure that whether you can buy these shirts or not.
This is another door that you can directly heading to the restaurant. (If I'm not mistaken, there is a wine room at there too.)
Before passed through this "house" and headed to the restaurant, there is a mini living room again and a laptop is provided.
This wall is really beautiful, isn't it? Believe or not, this is the wall outside the toilet.
There have a lot of plants at there. I have to admit that this place is really look like a small rainforest. No wonder that so many tourist who came from western country loves to stay at here.
Finally, we are at the restaurant. Sitting at there, you will feel like you are staying in the forest and the background music is the sound of the stream. Actually, under the wooden floor is a pond which is full of fishes. That's why you can hear the sound of water.
Look. The fishes are really beautiful and big.
You can go to the other house to have your meals too.
There are some tables between the two "houses" too. If there is no raining, sitting outside is really good too.
Then, you can go to the other side of the "house". You may have your meals there too but due to raining, we didn't go to there. I'm so satisfied with the effect of the photo and this should thanks to my ZR.
